At Rosslyn, we strive to equip our children with the powerful knowledge and insights to enable them to live as responsible members of their community. RE will make a significant contribution to our children’s understanding of British values, developing tolerance and respect for people who hold varied beliefs and world views, both of a religious and secular nature. We want them to understand that life is a journey and that the way we live our lives, and the significant milestones within it, are determined by our values and beliefs.    

Our children will reflect and relate their learning in RE to their own experiences. They will develop critical thinking skills and the confidence to discuss their own beliefs and values, and those of others, with increasing creativity and clarity.
