Here's how we teach and represent each value:

BRITISH VALUES ASSEMBLIES

We teach British Values in our weekly assemblies from EYFS to end of KS2. Each assembly has a meaningful and relevant link to British Values and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The assemblies start with an open question based on a current news story. The questions encourage children to discuss, debate and form opinions. This allows the children the opportunities to learn about respect, tolerance and to celebrate differences beyond the context of our school and community. The resources are designed to provide opportunities for children to learn from our world and develop respect for other’s beliefs, feelings and faiths. They encourage exploration, discussion, challenge and inspire children to learn!
