Good to be Me Day
Thursday 5th June
Dear Parents and Carers
As part of Transform Trust, we are taking part in a ‘Good to be me day’ on Friday 27th June. This follows a Trust wide survey of children in which children said they would like to celebrate their sense of belonging and individuality.
We are inviting children and adults to come to school dressed in what makes them feel good to be them – this could be traditional or cultural dress, clothes from the team that they play/dance/sing for, or any clothing that makes them feel brilliant (that could be their school uniform!).
In the build up to the day we will be taking to the children about this. If you could start talking about this with your child at home as well, this would be great. This isn’t a non-uniform day, this is about celebrating who you are and what you care about, and we are looking forward to be part of it.
Yours sincerely,
Scott Mason
