In Rosslyn Park, wellbeing is at the heart of design and technology as pupils are equipped with the power and skills to make informed choices about their lifestyle. As design and technology prepares children to become capable and effective citizens of our rapidly changing world by making informed choices through discussion and evaluation. As a result, pupils are given the opportunity to be innovative when they are presented with real world problems and develop solutions through designing, making and evaluating. These skills can then be applied beyond the classroom as children can consider the needs and wants of the world and community around them and know they have the power to make change.
