External Review of School

You may be aware that each year we engage in an external review of the school’s performance. This is in addition to the Ofsted inspection that we received in November 2017. We are continuing to do this as we are eager to know whether the improvements implemented are having an impact upon children and the teaching they receive in school

The review is carried out by an organisation called Challenge Partners. The latest review took place on the 24th, 25th and 26th January 2023 by a lead reviewer and three current head teachers or deputy head teachers. The process was thorough and the final report identifies the things we are doing well and those things we still need to improve.

This was not an Ofsted inspection or a 'Mocksted' Inspection and should not be considered in the same way. However, it supports the school in being clear on what is working well and what would we could do to be even better.
