Playground Extension
Dear Parents/Carers,
I want to let you know about some exciting developments for the children at school.
We are pleased to say that we will be extending the playground and installing a range of new playground equipment. The children have regularly told us that they would like more equipment to play on at playtimes and lunchtimes and we are delighted to be able to provide them with this.
The project will take a number of months to complete as we are going to significantly extend the playground from the current AstroTurf area, level the banked area with the blue path and install the additional equipment. The works will begin on Monday 13th January and we hope to have the whole project completed by the beginning of June.
Throughout the development of the playground temporary fencing will be installed from the school library across to the MUGA fencing. This means that this entire area will be out of bounds until the project is completed.
We have already shared our plans with the children and they are very excited about the potential and cannot wait to be able to use the new equipment. I have attached some artist impressions of how the new equipment will look once installed on the following pages.
